"Such Is Caprice!"

There's just something about mixing black and brown. It just seems soooooo chic to me...it's sophisticated yet cheeky, sleek but still sassy.  Amazing that I say this now, because a couple years ago, you wouldn't have caught me dead in anything that mixed brown and black!  I was that girl who wore all black and only black, most of it awkward business style clothing from Express haha!  My style has come a long way since those days...it's amazing how much inspiration and prompts toward creativity have come my way.

But one thing I've always stuck with...heels. Always heels.

  6. Oh my, how fun would it be for my hubby and I to take a trip to the cities and have a game night with you and your husband and Ryan and see how many other mutual friends we have! Craziness :)
    And yes, black and brown is one of my favorite color combinations, I second everything you said about it. I love that you've worn hounds tooth two posts in a row-it really is a fabulous print! Plus, ruffled cardigans are the best-so sweet and feminine. :)

  17. It's funny, whenever I see someone else mix black and brown, I love it. But I always feel a little "off" when I try to do it myself. I definitely need to move past that and experiment with this colour combination because you look fabulous!
